such success we had 13, a great number for Halloween, but not so good for making foursomes. Even Joe Parsons flew in from his new home in Texas to attend, and boy were his arms tired.  Sorry, but it had to be said. Dennis asked "So who's in this year that wasn't last year?"  Dan replied "That would be you".  What could we say?  It's his lodge!

HUGE 2007 was a big success.  So was 2008.  2009 would have a hard time measuring up.  We invited the same elite group as we did for 2008, but with the same result.  Tiger Woods had a prior appointment, as did Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh and every other golfer of note.  We even called Annika Sorenstam who graciously said "There's a reason I retired!  Now STOP CALLING ME!" It was Thursday, November 24.  Our gracious host Dennis Curran had come up early to handle the chores Barb said he had to do if he was to attend HUGE this year.  Last year she actually MADE him go to Singapore.  Poor guy. So here he is putting up shelves in his garage.  As the next arrivals, Dano, Monroe and I supervised for about three minutes before moving on to more pressing matters.

Dano, attending to the pressing matters mentioned earlier.  After the long drive to Tahoe, he grabbed a guitar to unwind. If the weather outside looks good, it's because it was.  For three consecutive years, the sun has shone one the HUGE weekend.

As camera shy as Red Bull Randall might be, he just can't quite hide behind the SUV that brought him here.  Blanks Murphy is helping him unload.  Inconspicuously standing in the background are Dawg, Dano and Dennis.
