HUGE 2010!
The Stage is Set
Phil Mickelson, Jim Furyk and John Daly all wanted
in, but in a surprise move, the HUGE executive committee opted for fan favorite Tom Neumayer to bring the roster to 12.  Teams were adjusted based on shirt size (and the overriding need to ensure that once again that I, John Shinnick, again wouldn't win a trophy) and HUGE 2010 was ready to go!

What follows is a recap of the world's most prestigeous golf tournament for 2010!  It was strangely compelling!
HUGE 2007 was a big success.  So was 2008, and  2009 was another tourney to remember.  So it was that HUGE 2010 was announced with lofty expectations.

We invited the same elite group as we did for 2009, but there were a couple of problems.  Carryover from the days of BIGGER, Larry Oliver had a scheduling conflict and had to bow out.  That brought us down to the ideal 12, but then "Chunks" Murphy was unable to make it.
We were playing for big… no, monumental… no, ginormous… no, we’re playing for HUGE stakes!  This is the 2010 edition of the annual HUGE trophy, coveted by golfers from California to New Jersey, Michigan to Texas, but only four are given out annually.  Arnold Palmer never won one.  Neither did Jack Nicklaus.  On his death bed, Ben Hogan expressed that he had only one regret, and it was HUGE!  Tom Watson doesn't have one on his mantel.  Of his many trophies, Tiger Woods doesn't have one.  Damn, I gotta get me one of these.  Would 2010 be the year?
Before you continue, please note that in addition to what I put in this section, many of the photographs were supplied by Dano Robinson and Mac (Ansel) Akin.  Text marked with an asterisk came from Dano, though in a couple of cases I did some editing because this is a family website.
