The Stakes were HUGE!

This is the trophy shelf of Stately Shin Manor reserved for HUGE trophies.  It has remained conspicuously empty for the last four years that HUGE has been held.  Now I don't mean to whine, but I have no team trophy, no longest drive trophy, no closest to the pin trophy, nothing.  It was time to make it look... well... less spaceous.

Ah yes, the highly prestigeous HUGE tournament trophies.  And who wouldn't want one?  Even Santa Clause would love to get one in his Christmas stocking!  Only four are given out each year, symbolic of golfing excellence.

The 2011 HUGE Trophy.  Wow.  No expense is spared in making this fine, hand-crafted piece of memorabilia.  No, you can't get these on E-Bay!  And for 2011, an even higher level of golfing excellence would be required.  There woule be no optional "tune-up" round, the trophies could be taken home only by winning a grueling two-day format.

And if that wasn't enough to bring the participants to a veritable frenzy of expectation, the HUGE Board of Directors expanded the getaway by an additional day to determine the manliest of the manly competitors, and gave the elite invitees the Tri-Man-Thelon!  Nine holes of golf, a bocce-ball tournament, and to cap things off, Liars Dice!  We were in man heaven!  Do the math.  Twelve years of manliness!
